ing. J.R. (Jan) Rigter

Jan finished his vocational education in Infrastructural design in 2016. Thereafter, he pursued and completed his Civil Engineering undergraduate degree at the University of Applied Science in Arnhem and Nijmegen in 2019. During his education his interest for geotechnical engineering became prevalent.

During his graduation project Jan sallied out for a sidestep towards the field of Hydraulic Engineering where he performed research concerning the stability of ecological additions on quarry stone constructions. This research was performed in collaboration with a large dredging company. This is a large accomplishment, especially considering his report was nominated to win the prize for best Hydraulic Engineering thesis 2019.

Jan is an enthusiastic engineer who is very adaptive, keen to learn and excels in geotechnical engineering.
