Senior Geotechnical Engineer
r.kishoenmisier@geo2.nl
After completing his studies in Civil Engineering at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname, Roshan continued his studies in Hydraulic Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. His career as an engineer started off with river and sea embankment construction projects in Suriname and, as a sideline, also for a contractor coordinating building sites.
The choice of GEO2 was a natural one, as Roshan's ambition as an engineer is to be closely involved in practical challenges. At GEO2 he has been given plenty of space for personal development, including:
- Guidance on the path to becoming a fully qualified geotechnical engineer;
- Trainingcourses in geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering and personal leadership;
- The opportunity to work on both large and small projects such as Theems Alignment in Rotterdam, Twente Canals Upgrade and The Oosterweel Connection;
- Active participation in internal developments such as the Plaxis working group;
- Offer to share knowledge as a lecturer at Anton de Kom University for the subjects of Soil Mechanics and Dams & Embankments.
Roshan is prepared for bridging the gap between theory and practice with an eye for multidisciplinary coherence. Through his passion for this profession and collaboration with colleagues, he aims to make a significant difference for GEO2's projects.
