Sahiraah graduated from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname in 2017, specialising in Infrastructure. After graduation, she started her career as a project engineer at a leading construction company in Suriname. During this period, her interest in geotechnical engineering grew, which led her to take a follow-up course at the Institute Structuralia, affiliated to the Spanish university Alfonso X El Sabio.

With this additional course, Sahiraah further developed her knowledge and expertise in geotechnical engineering. She joined the team of GEO2 Engineering B.V. as a geotechnical engineer on 1 September 2023. In this role, she contributes to various GEO2 projects, using her acquired knowledge and experience to provide high-quality advice.

Sahiraah is known as a flexible engineer who does not shy away from challenges. Her dedication to the profession of geotechnical engineering, her previous knowledge and skills in the field of road construction and her ability to contribute effectively to various projects make her a valuable asset to the GEO2 Engineering B.V. team.
