WARSAW SPIRE, WARSAW, POLAND

In close cooperation with our partners A-Squared STUDIO London, the DO/UO* design of the Warsaw Spire project was developed.

The foundations of three towers consist of a piled-raft foundation, in which the piles (barettes) are positioned in such a way that an attractive and trustworthy design is realised. The Spire has a five-storey basement, and with its height of 220 metres it is the second tallest building in Warsaw.

For making the calculations, use was made of Plaxis 3D, with a software routine in Python developed by A-squared.
